I worked all day delivering packages. Finished around 6:30 p.m. Driving home was hell and I live 15 minutes away. This storm is so bad, UPS won't be delivering tomorrow in the North Shore! Yay!!!!!!! I get the day off, without pay.

David has been shoveling a couple of tomes late tonight and now the drifts are so bad that it is up to our storm door. I'm not sure if we'll get out of the house much less me try to drive in this. Dave is supposed to plow his work, but I don't think he can even make it there, and it's about 13 miles away, I think. At least he gets paid, I don't if I can't work.

Looks like you might have gotten more than us. I hope you don't plan on using the front door. I kind of remember '67 also. I am just glad I didn't have to work today. I am hoping not to have to work tomorrow unless things are a lot better. Dave has been plowing since about 2am at his work.

yeah, that's about what the snow looked like when i opened my garage door. Just got back in from clearing the driveway and sidewalks... 3 hours to clear it, which if you think about it, is not that bad- it usually takes me about an hour with most snowfalls, 2-6 inches, so multiply by 3 and it seems about right, haha.... though somebody needs to come up with a pushable double decker snowblower for them big drifts.... 4+ foot drifts are not an easy thing to go through with a short snowblower!

Can't say I am too excited to drive mine on summer tires tomorrow, but have a service appointment to get my CELs looked at.

I like the double decker snow blower idea, it took me 2 to 3 passes to clear out some drifts, and the end of the driveway was crazy after mr. snow plow came thru. I am sure he was laughing his ass off thinking about the whole neighborhood would need to dig out from 3 to 4 feet after he pushed all the snow off the street.
