  • Snow Day!!

So I'm getting hunkered down here at home now, after having my office shut down at 11 am this morning, due to the impending 'snowmaggedon/snowpocalypse' or whatever you care to call it... and the office is closed tomorrow, too.... Yay for being able to stay in!

I postponed the job I had scheduled for tomorrow.
I think I would rather work than shovel snow though.I don't get paid to shovel snow.lol

Yep, we shut down today at 2:00pm and are off tomorrow. If only I had a project to work on? LOL

We shut down a bit late at 3. Getting home was hell as everyone was doing 20. =/

I can't believe how many 5th gens I saw out today. I saw a white V8 just sitting and spinning his tires.

I didn't see any out today, though I was able to be home before things got messy- but I have seen a good number of Camaros out and about in the inclemeent weather this year...with the summer tires on...

sux that you might have to deal with the roads tomorrow, good luck and stay safe!

3 hours? that's all? I'd hate to count the hours I would spend on the road trying to go from Bolingbrook to Des Plaines and back tomorrow... Easily over 4 hours (have had 4 hour commutes one way in the past)

However, I'm not really required to work from home, so I got nothin' to do. (Kinda hard to do Tech Support/Help Desk from home, especially without an office phone!)

Eh, I could probably cobble something together since we've added OCS to our systems, but our phone system is a bit behind otherwise.

but hey, we're not-for-profit, so I take what I can get... besides if I had a SIP setup for home, I wouln't be able to not work on a day like tomorrow!

SIP is great, Google Chat combined with Google Voice gives you a phone number and free domestic phone calls in the US! Might want to setup a C5G Hotline -- for free...
