Yeah, by the time I got home this evening, it was just about as bad here... not quite as much as you have in the pics there, but was just about there. Car handled remarkably well. Only wanted to kick out a bit if I accellerated hard. The traction control on this thing is wicked. - I don't think it would be possible to get this car sideways with it on. (Without trying anyway, haha) -- Certainly had a much better time of handling the roads than the Chrysler 300 in front of me that could hardly even accelerate from a stop!
George, you're a crazy man! I saw your car parked in the lot as I left Home Depot at 3:20 p.m. and I just shook my head. Well actually, my whole body shook when I saw your car. I finally got back to Dixon at 6:30 p.m. In a 4-wheel drive truck no less.
Kudos to you.. I've been driving mine as well. Rain, sleet, snow, ice... doesn't matter.. It's a very nice machine and can be easily repaired if damaged... Plus, the dealer I purchased it through allows me to bring it back to them for any and all cosmetic damage, regardless of the reason and they have it repaired for free (purchased package).. So far, I've had the bumper fixed, two door dings fixed, the roof is getting a dent removed now along with having all my stripes replaced.
same here, I am amazed on how well this car drives on the snow, I went to work this AM at around 5:00 and all I could see was car strugling to get out of their driveway and all along the way cars on the ditchm, even some 4X4's, of course it helps having the experience of driving a 4th gen for almost 4 years on all kinds of weather.
The best advice I can give to someone trying to drive this thing in Snow, even on stock tires (like myself) is... Don't drive stupid.. Drive a lot more cautious than normal, understand that the rear does want to break loose and don't try to aggressively take turns, stops or starts.. I've had times where the rear broke loose from underneath me, but I could feel it coming and was able to let off the gas and recover just fine. It's not too much different than driving my old C1500 pickup. That thing hated any amount of water on the road.
