    850 C5G Members?

    According to this, almost 850 5th Gen. Camaros in IL :azn:

    Might be worth contacting GM to see if they can do a mailing to all 5th Gen owners for C5G at the club's expense...

    I don't think that would fly with GM. Maybe we can get dealers to give cards to their customers?

            I think it depends on how much of an enthusiast they are, once you want to start modifying your car, you want to go compare notes and see what others are doing. Those are the ones who would want to join I think...

            The vanilla daily driver folks -- not so much.

              Those numbers don't seem to make a whole lot of sense. By a quick eyeball, there wouldn't be more than 20,000 camaros in the states. I am sure the rentals are excluded, but with 100,000 produced (give or take) since production began that would leave 80,000 as rentals, or sold out of the US. Doesn't add up to me.

              Finding all 850 seems like a lot of work and money. Good idea, but probably a bigger under taking than we can handle.

                I think you're right. These numbers seem to be for 2011 only.

                  I carded a guy just about to drive off from the dealer lot while picking up my winter ride. He just bought a Black V-6 RS.
