Hopefully they bake in CarPlay into the entertainment system!
Performance of regular 2016 SS is claimed to beat the 5th gen 1LE package anyway, but yeah don't expect any packages like 1LE or ZL1, etc for a year or more.

    As for CarPlay? Meh.

I was told by someone that works in the tech center that they are already working on the next Big muscle Camaro (He thought it will be the ZL1). He thought it would be released in 2017 but wasn't 100% sure because the top dogs keep them in the dark as much as possible.

Stands to reason that it could be the ZL1, and could possibly get the LT4.... Otherwise not sure what they would use in it

Looking at the picture of the rear....what were they thinking putting the RS...SS...emblem in that location? That will be the first thing people remove.

Already decided , it's getting debaged. I might keep the side emblem, I kinda like it.

It is a very odd location for the badging -- did not even see it there at first glance. But there is a lot to like on this new gen -- all of that Cadillac R&D going into the Camaro platform is a nice perk with Alpha, etc., problem is, it takes them years to roll out the full lineup. I am most interested in track reliable and optimized versions -- as places like Road America are very demanding on a car, especially when you get beyond novice.

Just saw video showing the HUD options on this generation, and they added the LTE WiFi (Hopefully LTE Advanced and 802.11ac variants) like they are doing in other GM cars these days!

On another note, I noticed http://www.chicago6thgen.com resolves to this site.

Sounds like a trade in your future?

For me to even think about replacing Inferno, it would have to be for a 6th Gen ZL1 or something similar model wise.

Couldn't agree with you more, it doesn't look right at all where they put it.

does remind me more of the convertible rather that the coupe, shorter front to back.
