Okay, I did it. Moved it into the cai wall area place. Fun drilling 3/4 into metal. (Thanks Tony) Have driven it all day, temp check with my hand held. Seems to run 20-30 degrees better than it was. Big drop. Performance butt dyno, feels awesome. Now just to lose the washer bottle.Attached Files

Ted from Jannetty Racing has been saying that it's not optimal to measure the air in the CAI box, as you aren't actually measuring the air that is going INTO the intake. - with the V6 testing they did, for example, the Airaid CAI didnt show heatsoak, but was actually starving for cool air. the IAT was fine when there was sufficient air supply.
I think the results of the IAT relocation is going to depend a lot on the filter and intake being used.
