doors locked themselves?!

I have had this car five years. I have gone out to start the car and let it warm up outside my office hundreds of times. I even tried to lock the doors with the spare key fob. The doors always unlock. There seemed to be no way to warm up the car with the doors locked.

Today, for no reason at all, I went out after a few minutes of warming to leave, and guess what? The doors are locked. I did not lock them. After trying every way possible to lock the doors with the engine running and failing, I assumed this was not possible.

On the plus side, my car will be really really warm when my wife gets here in an hour or so.

LOL That happened to me one time the doors locked themselves but I heard them lock before I closed the door behind me. Luckily I was in my own driveway too. There's always on star to unlock as well if you have it.
