On the "Vern" cruise my HUD started to fade out and back in about 1.5 hours into the cruise, actually in middle of one of those wide sweeping turns. I've read that this problem can be extremely intermittant therefore difficult to demonstrate for the dealer, but I gave it a shot.......well I got a call from Martin chevy today informing me that through some special testing they were able to identify a failure with the HUD and are replacing it for me!
Hopefully anyone having this issue and not taking it in because of the difficulty in duplicating it, will now know that it can be identified! It only happened to me once.....
