Need help, check engine went on.....

I have a 2013 2LT RS, I have just hit a little over 18k miles, and ysterday night noticed my check engine light was on. Any idea wat this could be from? Also i been noticing this Metallic sound like scraping metal only when I aaccelerate.

You can go to any auto parts store and they will scan your computer to see what the codes for. Regardless though with a scraping sound like that I would take it to the dealer because you still have a warranty. Use it while you have it.

Called 4 chevy dealers and finally jennings could take me in tomorrow morning im gona head to the orieleys to just see what codes they are.

well it turned out it was my gas cap i guess it was loose so re did it and turned the car on and no more check engine light. But im still gona take it in cuz I have had that metal grinding sound for a while now, and just notice it whne i dont have my radio on. I heard over the forums that most likey something to do with the transmission/ torque converter needs replacing.
