Not giving up my switchblade... But all the videos have the car in park or neutral, obviously it's dangerous to do it while in gear, but has anyone actually tested that?:-/Comment

They should have designed push button starts. I'm taller than 4' 11" so I should be OK without bringing my car in for the recall work. My knee is well away from the ignition.sigpic

Hmm, in an accident by the time my knee hit it, wouldn't I already be in a situation that steering and engine speed to avoid the collision was already a moot point. Not sure.
HOWEVER, let's say it does shut it off, and or you break the key with your knee,and I am knocked unconscious, or with limited movement, trying to get on the car phone without the car on or reaching onstar may be a problem I could see. this is a difficult choice, I am not going to be running in there just yet.
