Knocking noise near right rear wheel well

I don't hear this noise often but I do notice it more when the gas tank is half to almost full. Almost sounds like a door knocker is outside the right rear seat as I go over bumbs in the road. Is this a known issue or any ideas?

LOL yes it may be your valve on the gas tank system! It's normal. Knock knock knock, come in !

Thanks and LOL! Not that I run over bumbs often but the Kane County roads are quite littered with *bumps*! Still not digging the noise...pretty loud. So nothing can be done?

Well if your only hearing this noise on bumps, then I don't think it's the gas system valve after all. Especially if it's getting louder with time, have it checked out, something is probably loose under there.

My car makes the same noise...right rear just a couple knocks it doesn't happen all the time, and at one of our meets I asked Bill about the noise and I got the same answer and the dealer confirmed = ) Maybe everyone else has their radios up too loud to hear, thats what I do now...its my band aid = )
