  • Headers & Emissions Tests

    Hi,
Thought I would ask this question because I don't know the answer or what to expect once I take the leap.

Has anyone had trouble passing the SOS emissions test after installing headers?

    Thanks

As log as you get a tune after the headers you will have no problem with emissions.

I wouldn't know for sure because I don't have to get mine inspected, but pretty sure I remember Stefano (NicKey) stating that their tunes even with headers will pass emissions inspection. Maybe he'll chime in on my statement.

Had mine emissions tested in February. Passed with no problem. Tony at Speed Inc said it would even with the cam. All in the tune.

Yup. Tests only look for codes.

You should have no problems whatsoever passing emissions assuming the car was properly tuned. Even our custom 510 cubic inch 800 HP motor passes emissions!
