I read the article today and one thing that stood out to me was the price of the cars. Hard to argue that $75K is too much for a Z/28 after this article.

Sure it is. I can get a fully loaded C7 Z51 for 75k and its 400 pounds lighter.

Oh you vette guys and your weight. Technology these days trumps the weight savings. Look how long the GTR has been on top of most comparison and they weigh over 3800lbs.

Don't try and pull a fast one on me... They are all wheel drive, that adds a considerable amount of weight.

I think I read that the Z/28 whomped the C7 anyway.

not sure what AWD has anything to do with your statement. Yes AWD adds weight and generally can hurt top end speed. So yes its good for down low traction but will hurt any vehicle top end.

So the 3800lb, AWD pig, trumps your lightweight toy.

Plus like Tony said, the z/28 out performed the C7 on its courses anyways. I'm sure the new zo6 will take the title back but so will it's price tag.

To each their own as all vehicles have their pros and cons. That's why we have such a variety

                  Yep, I'd pick a Z/28 over the C7 Z50whatever.... It's a beast....baby!

Was talking to someone I know who owns a GTR. They were upset with the fact that the driver during the test was a GM employee.
