Lots of good info on Camaro5 about this. Chase at Apex broke it down on some threads. More have as well but good detail from Chase. End of the day its up to your preference and what you plan to do with YOUR car. Ask SYCK SS about a warranty.

I <3 warranties lol brought my car in because I snapped my output shaft at the track. First time out with my drag wheel setup... got it towed to the dealer with twin turbo kit installed and everything. They replaced my output shaft under warranty and complimented my turbo setup when I picked it up. ;-)

Asterisk to yours since it was before the VIN breakpoint for the defective output shaft, but yeah, they could have refused.

Mag-moss is a tricky thing to navigate... Trust me I live and breathe GM warranty 24 hours a day.

There is no one on this sight that has a better handle on the exact line and dead facts... And what happens to the dealers that warranty that which should not be warranty.

It all depends on specifics. The main idea is that, for example, they can't deny a warranty repair on your radio if you have an aftermarket exhaust.
