  • Need Dealer Recommendation for Service

I moved from Tinley Park to Romeoville last year. I had continued to take my car for service to the dealer I bought my car from, but after my last service, which left me very unsatisfied, I figure it's time to find a new dealer. So I'm looking for suggestions on dealers close to my area that you take you cars to for service that you trust.

    Thanks.

... Some may disagree, but Naperville Chevrolet has always treated me well, and they have long hours, too

Thank you for all of the suggestions.

I'm just trying to find a place that will treat me (and my car) right. It may not be the best car out there, but I did not appreciate what happened to my car at last service, and even more so, the fact that the dealership or Chevy did not even respond to my complaint.

I will probably check out Advantage in Bolingbrook and Jacobs in Joliet first to see how they are.

Along with service, eventually within the next year or so I am going to be in the market for a new car (Equinox LTZ or Traverse LS), so I want to find somewhere I'm comfortable with.

I have always taken all my cars to Ron Westphal chevy on Rt34 in Oswego. Great service department, very honest and always great work. Have never had a single problem.

I don't know how they are now, but when I was shopping for my Camaro, advantage Bolingbrook was not a good experience, Including them trying to sell me a prade/program car as new.

Good to know. Maybe I'll start with Jacobs in Joliet.

I wouldn't go to Jacobs. I work at a dealer and was referred by GM & still had a really really really bad experience... Can I asked what happened at your other dealership and which one it was ? Feel free to PM me... I might be able to assist.

Jacobs has reorganized, sold a dealership and let go a bunch of people over there the last few months. I would not go there.

I think all dealership have problems. Some people like a dealership and some hate the same dealership. Its a hit and miss game. Keep searching till you find one you like.
