Anyone stuck driving their camaro SS in this weather and are doing well? If so, what tires do you have? Just wondering before I spend money on winter tires (so I will also buy performance summer tires) I want to ensure it makes a significant difference. I have seen a lot of guys post videos of them driving around in IL with pirellis scorpion winter tire, and it looks like it handles well in these conditions. Any recommendations? I have added about 150lbs of weight in my trunk.

the pirelli's are good winter tires, in the stock 20" sizing. you also have the option of some aftermarket 18"s that will fit, then you have more options from bridgestone and goodyear as well.

Blizzaks are great tires, had them on my Mustang. I personally run the BF Goodrich all seasons on the 18" rims in the winter on my Camaro, no problems.

                Yep.

I did a long one today, car did great. I got stuck after it when I moved over for a little old lady. I took a vid of how deep the snow was. Just needed a small push.

I move around better than many of the cars I have seen. Was out on my Scorpions on new years eve night... Handled like a dream. My Camaro is now the best handling car in a family of 4 vehicles.

In previous winters, I drove my 2SS/RS right on through winter (in snow) with the OE PZeros.

However, I no longer have that car AND this is weather that even I wouldn't advise running around in with anything other than a climate correct tire... and that's saying something coming from me.

The Vette is stuck in the garage due to lack of snow removal in the alley that is now over my lower grille -- so, even if I didn't have my wide boat GY:F1:G1s on there, I still wouldn't be going anywhere.

I had the opportunity to talk with FBODFATHER Scott S. at the Stevenson Center Car Show in late November. Scott was saying he had the Pirellis Scorpion tires on his first Gen 5 Camaro. "These tires are the best in cold and the snow". He talked about driving in 8-9 in. of snow while back home in Michigan, and had no problem getting thru. He said his Camaro was fun to drive with these tires.

2013 Chevy Cruze. Purchased it new on December 22, 2012. I have had ALOT of issues with the car the BBB finally settled with me and they are offering me 2 years of free oil changes and tire rotations. The car has issues. My camaro well it doesn't work in the winter with my lowering springs and my front splitter and remote plate. I don't own a set of winter tires.

I took this video at the tail end of our big snow storm:

I turned around and then got stuck by the bobcat. I moved over for another car but didn't realize the right side of my car was in almost a foot of snow:

                          Video of that spot:

                          DONE!
