Today was one of the first days I can remember slipping and sliding so much, but just about any vehicle short of 5 tons or so would be sliding on the icepack snow out there. Still being careful, not a bit of trouble.
Yep today and yesterday it was dicey in anything you were driving, I saw five accidents literally right in front of me on the Elgin Ohare and the Eisenhower, the best near miss was a guy coming off the entrance ramp to the Elgin Ohare and he did a 360 donut in the center lane, ended up still in the center lane facing the right direction and didn't hit anything, stopped to catch his breath and kept on going
I'll have to keep an eye out for your 2014 1LE, I'm over by Addison/Western. We've eaten in Logan Square on many occasions. My car is a 2010 CGM running stock rims for the winter, front plate is mounted on the side.
This is our 2nd winter with our 2010 and this winter I drove it in snow on the stock tires and no traction at all and steering sucked. Glad its not my daily winter driver!!! I love this 6.2 so much we got a new 2013 GMC Denali 400hp AWD

Nice!
Yeah, snow is not ideal for the stock pirelli's or other summer rubber.

Sweet! I would like to replace my 1996 Blazer (daily driver) with a new truck. Not sure if I'll go with a GMC or Silverado. Would like the 6.2 in case I want to pull a car hauler.

I traded off my truck and still wanted something I could pull anything I wanted to. The Tahoe and Yukon all come with 5.3 The only way you can get the 6.2 is in the Denali. I'm not sure what what the 6.2 comes in the trucks.

The 5.3 has pretty good towing capacity with the right axle combination. I'll probably go that route for better gas mileage rather than the 6.2. I've been watching the used market too, but there's not much out there.
I'm just about to pull the trigger on a 2014 Sierra with the 5.3 and 3.42 gears. That will be able to pull a car hauler with no problem. FYI the 6.2 is available in the SLT as well as the Denali.

Exact combination I'm thinking of as well. Should be some good deals happening in February. GM is sending me offers every week.
How are you getting the GM offers? They have not sent me anything.

I have a GM Card which get's me some and think I signed up on their website for information and offers. Pretty sure most of them come from having the GM Card though.
