Hey guys-
One of the things I am interested in doing when I have my Camaro is looking into replacing the stock radio/HVAC, similar to what Metra has with their kit, but better. To that end, I have been watching a thread over on the G8 board that is VERY interesting. There is an embedded systems engineer that has put together a GMLAN<-> USB adapter for a CarPC (and in the next month or so there will be a stand alone touch screen interface )This is where it gets interesting. He's going to put together a beta test, and he may be interested in letting someone test this in the Camaro. I can't as of yet, as 1 I don't have a Camaro, and 2, I dont have the capability to test the GMLAN data, etc... does anyone here Have the tools/software to beta test something like this, or would it be better for one of the national boards? I think it would be an awesome alternative to the Metra Kit
