Quick question never run the ac in my camaro decided to run it well my camaro started to smell I pulled my driver side mat up my carpet is soaked any ideas??? Car has 32,000 miles on it and replaced my heater core at 14,000 miles but I'm hoping it's not the core my warranty expired in January.....

As far as I know, the heating/cooling bits are on the passenger side.

The a/c system on any car has a drain hose that is on the passenger side and it's purpose is to let the water (condensation) run out and drain to the street. However sometimes the hose clogs, from pollen or not changing your cabin filter or leafs getting clogged in the drain anyhow If the hose gets clogged it will drain into your passengers floor board and creat a misty smell. You can usually use a coat hanger or wire sticking it in the hose to remove debris.Comment

Depends where the drain is located could be in-between or passengers. Come to think about it, I'm not sure where the camaro drain is located ?? But I'm willing to bet that's your problem. We get a lot of those complaints this time of year.Comment
