  • Oil leak Again!

    I have a 2011 LT1/RS with the V6.
Last oil change I had, the dealer found an oil leak from the pan.
This last Friday, I went in for an oil change and this time the dealer found a leak from the timing chain cover. They had the car all day Friday and Saturday. Hoping to get the car back Monday.
Has any other of you V6 owners been having oil leak problems?
Thank goodness the warranty is still good.😐

Front timing cover gaskets are a known issue on V6 GM engines in the Camaro, CTS, traverse, SRX, and equinox along with the GMC & Buick counterparts.
Racing is my life, everything else is just minor details.
