service stability track alert

Hey camaro fam,

I got this alert about service my stability track today. I got the car last August has 15547 miles. Thanks for any help.

More details would help. Like what were you doing when it came on, any recent work or maintenance done. Were you driving? Stuff like that might help us out.

But ultimately a dealer would be best bet as your car should still be under warranty.

Wheel speed sensor? I had a similar issue on my old Grand Prix.

yeah, the service stabilitrac can come from a number of different things, unfortunately. I presume that it did not go away after turning off and on the car?

This comes on each time you do a burn out or have the car on the dyno usually. There are other reasons, but the most common is that the back wheels are turning faster than the fronts.

It usually goes off on its own in about 5 minutes.

Mine blipped every time I cranked the car after the blower install.

If you're concerned with it, then see a qualified service agent.

There is a TSB about a reprogram to fix it. It happens if you cycle the ignition too fast, it causes a hiccup in the ebtcm.

Thanks for all the help. The alert came on once I got in my car in the morning yesterday. Now it comes on every time I get in the car. I try to avoid every pot hole i can. I have no mods I am dead stock. only thing I could think that may have caused this me driving in the city all day Friday city streets are horrible pot holes everywhere. I scheduled an appointment at chevy dealer for tomorrow.
