Too much bass

Help, my 2010 camaro ss stereo, sounds awful. It is loud as hell but the back window or back area vibrates too much when the music is cranked up. Anyone have any tip to reduce the vibration rattle in the back when the music is cranked up??

Have you tried just bumping the fade up from centered to slightly more towards the front?
I've never noticed anything vibrating - did you take a quick peek to see if anything was loose?

You can do what I did dynomat the entire trunk and trunk lid.

Yes i agree to check your settings and also to do the trunk and lid... i did mine cheap with peel and seal from home depot

And i have 2 10s on around 5000 watts

Nothing rattled for a long time... now my headliner slaps the roof near the front on certain frequencies, and my whole roof waves at full tilt

Do you have the BA system? I don't and needed to add a sub to get decent bottom. LOL

What are your EQ settings at, and what source are you using, and at what volume? There's alot of variables here, bu I can't see needing any sound deadening on a stock system.

On the stock ba system if i had the bass too high i would vibrate the rear deck some

At least lol i ran the 12.8 with it out... my goal this year is a 12.9 with it in there then mid 12s with it out

Yea i ran a 13.07 with it in there i want the 12 with it in there... but yea i love subs it just sucks on the track

The camaro is the first car i have ever owned that didnt have subs in it. But i barely ever have my radio on anyways now. the whistle is music to my ears :-)
