  • Recommendations needed: Dealership to use for maintenance in NW 'burbs?

First oil change and maintenance needed. Purchased out of state so I'm torn between the many dealers to choose from around the Algonquin and Elgin area. Any recommendations?

How's that service dept when it comes to modded cars and warranties? Gary Lang was good when I was lightly modded, but now I have a bit more done. I've also had to have a paintless dent repair done twice after leaving Lang.

Warranty issues are handled case by case. We can look the other way as Lang does. May have trouble if the mod directly caused the fault but can usually make something happen. Sorry to hear about the dents. I would be pissed! That should never happen. I respect others cars as I would my own babies. Request me, Paul Baumgartner, I'm proud of my work and happy to take car of your car. I've been at that store for 10.5 years now and am the only one who works on all the corvettes/zl1's n such.

Thanks for the reply. Actually went to Biggers in Elgin for the oil change. They were nice and got the job done with no dents but I kept a watchful eye! Found out there is a recall on the top and need to get the passenger seat leather replaced due to a defect. Since she is now in storage I'll look you up come Spring.

now i know who will be touching my car if i need to bring it in for anything. Good to see a fellow member in the field as well. So far with what i have had to bring my car in for at Martin. i have been pleased with the no hassle results except a very minor issue.
