  • Reaching out to anyone that works at a GM dealer...

so i know there are a few members that are lucky enough to work at GM dealers.

I was able to get my rear end apart and confirmed that i shattered my spider gears, so i was able to locate the correct part number of what i will need to get the repairs done. My ring and pinion are unharmed which is good.

I am seeing if anyone is able to get a discount off of the part i need. I know i can order it online for much cheaper then dealer cost but am reaching out this way before I do so as I always prefer to work straight through the dealer instead of the online websites.

    GM Part #: 92230401 - my cost of $270.00

I would prefer that you PM me as i don't want anyone to get in trouble and i do thank anyone for the help in advance.

Feel free to share Jim's contact info, they have a program that we (MFBA) started there about 10 years ago.

I will talk to him about hopping on here maybe too. I'm sure I wont be the only business he will see from this forum.

I am going to call him and order that grill friday once i get paid. 300.00 for a new heritage grill is not bad.
