Winter to do list.

Well it is about that time a year again and I know some of use this time to "improve" our camaros. So I thought I would start a little to do list. Lets see what everyone has planned for their cars this winter. Ill get it started.

*new rear gears- 3.73 or DSS 9" conversion
* new turbos
*intercooler
*acquire HP Tuners
*install 2 widebands
* repair or replace front bumper
*upgrade/replace brakes
*hardened pushrods, rockers, and springs.

I think that soles up my plans. What is everyone else planning?

Here is our list for the winter:
*hydro dipping engine cover, fuse cover, radiator cover, and CAI system in Carbon Fiber
*Chevy underhood emblem hydro dipped in waving American Flag
*LED lights around engine compartment with multicolor lights (waiting to be installed)
*replacing interior/trunk lights with aqua LEDs and license plate LEDs - done
*old style script "Camaro" fender emblems (waiting to be installed)
*heritage grill - done
*chrome American Racing BLVD wheels - done
*black painted brake calipers with silver chevy logo
*LED footwell lights (aqua) - done
*35% window tints - done

My pocket is not as deep as most think, all comes down to a budget and planning. I will say, to have everything i do i sacrificed a lot over the years. It's all about discipline.

but im always open to new friends

just a quick formula- if you own your car for over 3 years like myself. I have spent i would say about $12,000 on my car in that time. So dive the total by how many years i have owned the car- thats only $4000 a year.

so by saving between $300 and $400 a month- i can purchase all the toys.

I have discipline, that's why I have a Camaro... But, I also have kids, and that's why I haven't got a lot of goodies on said Camaro! Damn kids suck me dry!!!!! Okay, have to admit, I probably spoil them to much! :-)

ahhhhh yes the kids.... that is why my wife and I are waiting so i can finish my project. haha

I know that when that happens it all gets placed on hold. So i would do the same and spoil my kids too. That is much more important.

Yea, kids are great... They keep you young and make you old all at the same time! I like your plan to get your project(s) done before the kids.

Going to Pete's Saturday to finish a few mods. And let's just say I plan on having the fastest v6 in the club come next spring. Not telling what's going to be under the hood, I'll leave that up to speculation.

Got me very cuious now. I have seen a couple Turbo 6 cylinders but I don't know if they race em or not.
