I got a couple quotes to get my whole front bumper repainted right around $500.

But talk to Pete he will be able to be more accurate. Best of luck! I'm saving up still to get mine done.

sent from my galaxy s3. that would explain the errors.

no i didnt file a claim. didnt want to put a ding on my record as my deductible is $500 as well. so either way i would have to pay $500

The issue i ran into is that they could try just doing the spot that had the scrape on it and blend everything, but black is very difficult to do this with so i was saving up to have it done right. Even thinking about a zl1 conversion but now sure yet

yeah i am going to see what shops recommend then make my own decision. I was thinking about the ZL1 conversion but i don't want people to think i am trying to be something i am not..

eh if you like the way it looks then do it. Dont let others influence your choice. Plus a bumper does not make a car faster. Just be prepared to spend about $2000 if you want that.

Nah they aren't that much. You can get a factory zl1 take off for 750.

thats just for parts. then throw in labor and painting you get up there. If im going to spend over $1000 on a front bumper im going to get factory GM parts. after market is always a PITA. plus you need light housings and lights, then the wiring. Its a big project.
