Gas Lock

I wanted to know if they made gas caps with a lock for our camaros? I been every around town no one has them not even chevy.

I would have thought that those were pretty standard? Do you mean the door, or actual cap? JC Whitney has the cap on line. Probably have the door as well.

Yes, they have the door with a lock as well.

I went to auto zone and nappa and chevy no one had one i could buy. I figured this would be the spot to come to since this is the local camaro club. thanks allot

If you can get the locking cap, that would be more secure than the locking doors. the locks for the doors are usually a press-in fit, so could be pried open pretty easily.

Locking fuel doors are a bad idea if your vehicle is driven in the winter. I would advise a GM locking fuel cap is the best way to go

I speak from YEARS of experience with HUMMER accessories including locking fuel doors. With the winter weather we have here salt gets into the lock cylinder, corrodes and you will end up stuck at a gas station unable to get to your fuel cap and refill your car at the worst possible time.
