I just put in this media plug/ aux plug in my camaro and I followed all the directions except this part. Dont exactly know what it means and was hoping someone could help me out. thanks.

It tells me i need to make sure the SPS software is up to date. also it tells me to reprogram the radio using the method called out by the TCSC.

please help. thank you.

It's the software for the radio. SPS is one of the methods of programming the radio module... Just make sure the software on your phone/media player is up to date and you should be good...


Oh wait... Your car didn't come with the USB from the factory?

You will probably have to take it to a dealer and have the radio module flashed and the option turned on.

i have a flash cable is it possible to do it myself? its an EZ flash cable that i bought with my trifecta. and no it did not come with it from the dealer

Dealer will need to program, you can't do it on your own... Once programmed, the source button selects it...

Well you can do it on your own if you have a laptop, MDI, Candi module, a tech2 and a techline/SI log in & a high speed Internet connection.... but I only know of a few members who have access to all that
