I really do like those, and they would save a lot of time and heartache with rocks. I like that they are more subdued, I might just have to order a pair.sigpic

Tony after seeing your ZL1 splash guards today I have to say that I really like the way that they look on the car. I am seriously thinking about buying a set now.sigpic

For the front rears I made my own guards following the pattern of the ZL1 rears. However, when I put my 285s up front, those are not enough to protect the sides of the car anymore. I'm throwing up all kinds of crap from the road now. I found these which I'm going to cut and style like the rears. I need to find some clips to connect the flap to the lip of the fender. There are no screws other than the two lower ones holding the wheel liner in place.

Just got my ZL1 rear splash guards in the mail. I think I'll stay in tonight not only because I want to put them on, but also it's to hot outside. I'll take pictures when I'm done. Or should I take install pics too?sigpic

Ok I took some pictures as I did this tonight. They may not be perfect but I hope that they help.
Tools Needed: Reversible Ratchet, Socket, and a T20 Torque Bit.
1)Locate all three of the torque screws in the aft part of the wheel well, and remove with your ratchet.
, , ,
2) Take your splash guard slide it up in-between the rear bumper and wheel well guard into place.
3) Only the top hole will match up with the bumper, wheel well liner and splash guard the center and lower locations have notches that the torque screw will sit in-between.
4) Once you have the first torque screw started you can slightly pull the bumper away from the splash guard and remove the cover on your splash guards double sided tape and press it to the inside of the rear bumper.
5) Line up the holes for the center and lower torque screws and tighten all three.
6) You are done and your splash guards are firmly in place.
I will include finished pictures tomorrow as is was to dark tonight when I was done to get a good shot. I hope this helps everyone out.Last edited by LadiesMan217; 07-06-2012, 03:06 AM.sigpic
