My father in law bought the black one from me and it's in Sarasota FL at his retirement house. He had been looking and I happened to find the silver 2010 that I have now so we did a swap. Silver is so much easier for me to maintain with a 3 year old and one year old

Thanks Ted. If I can't get to the bottom of it I will hit him up. One of the coppers I work with used to be tech at Hoskins Chevy so I'm gonna have him try to diagnose first as I'm running thin on the funds.

Killing time at libertyville Chevy right now getting my first oil change on the 5th gen. Little depressed knowing I could be dropping the car off for a cam or blower for what I spent on the '02. Live and learn. Wife wanted something she could tool around in during the summer months and wanted an auto. Now I have a feeling it's gonna be a money pit. I've had more cars than I am of age and never really had any problems with cars I've bought. Guess i'm losing my touch for finding gems. Hopefully it works out.

it looks like my membership lapsed and i'm just an associate.....to the powers that be i just sent my re-up dues via paypal.

........the '02 is all dialed up. i was concerned that the steering was all jacked up but the tech at libertyville chevy said its normal when you have a 275 tire on the front(stated they could tear into the steering column for the tiny click i hear sometimes but they said they wouldnt worry about it). coolant was flushed (hose clamp relplaced as well..no more smell) and some new mobil 1 for the engine. he said the car is very clean for what it is and its an unmolested car. feeling much better with it now. would have liked to spend the money on the 5thgen in power mods but i will enjoy the '02 for a little bit while i decide what direction i want to go. quick after bath pic.
