  • ELM 327 OBDII scanner for phone.

I bought this a couple weeks ago.

Most of you probably know what it is but for those that don't. It plugs into your OBDII port and allows you to check/clear codes, run diagnostics, livestream, and a whole bunch of other cool stuff.
It runs with the app "torque" on android and apple devices but also runs on some other apps that I have heard.

I bought it off Amazon with next day shipping for $41 and the paid version of the app is $4.99. Well worth the money compared to handheld scanners costing 2x-3x the money.

I made a video review of it last night and uploaded it to youtube.

+1. These are great. I even posted some Camaro-style gauge graphics here somewhere.

Last night I bought some more plug-in's for it to change the background and they had alot of cars and different flame patterns to choose from. I haven't gone through them all but I'm hoping to find a camaro one.

Search the app market for Torque and the apps that say (torque plugin) are the ones that are compatible with it. For example: Tourquescan, Widgets for torque, shift lights for torque, torque liveview plugin, shift lights pro for torque.
