the bowtie is the same but different clips on the back. If you cut 1 of the clips off the original it will fit.

yay for bumping old threads!
I finally pulled the trigger yesterday on headers! Got a great deal from a guy local on C5. I will hopefully be picking them up Friday evening.
One issue. They are dynatech long tubes 1 7/8ths with 3in catted connection pipe. My solo exhaust is 2.5in so I will need to find some way of attaching them without hacking either of them up.
I'm thinking about a reducer but do I do 3in OD to 2.5 OD and have it go inside both pipes?
Or do I wait and actually measure the outside and try to find a 3.75in ID to 2.75in ID to go over? (those are estimated sizes btw)
ID = inside diameter
OD = outside diameter
Just in case there is confusion.
I really want to find a shop that will make me a 2.5in off road connection but I don't know if they will do it or how much it will cost.
I called dynatech and it's almost $400 for a off road connection pipe.

Not sure where you live but there is a shop in Joliet called Oxbo exhaust. They are a small old gas station style shop that does anything and everything . All custom . I sent Tansor there ask him how he likes them . The best around
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkMan that really sucks...........but that's the coolest thing I've ever seen

Steve, there is a Merlins that I deal with in Villa Park, North Ave. and Ardmore. Ask for Dave, he is the manager and a big hot rodder. He did my son's Z28 before he wrecked it and he had no problem removing his cat. when he did the exhaust.sigpic
