What is weaker on the manual then the auto?

Also how much modding are we talking? I want to do intake and exhaust for performance and sound then most likely will do appearance stuff.
Just don't go to the track on DRs with stock axles and use Launch Control.

For those basic mods, it won't matter. When getting into higher HP stuff, like cam, etc, that's where things can go wrong if not done right

that can go wrong with either manual or auto.

there is nothing wrong with the manual you where looking at it is a later build you will be fine.

that is the same with either. you throw 700 hp at something designed for 700 and run it hard. yes something is going to break.

it is a man made machine, if they didnt break i would be out of a job. there would be no dealership service departments. and we would all go to jiffy lube and get our oil changed by a 16 year old acne filled teenager

you remember me from jiffy lube? lol actually it was Oil express I worked at.... yeah that was interesting!

I want to tastefully mod the first few years then once the bumper to bumper is gone then I may throw some FI at her. But suspension and everything will be addressed.

That's a given. But if you go big, be prepared to upgrade stuff that may not have been engineered for HP over stock, or beating.

you trying to speak like HumanWiki's ancestry there?

I have the best custom plates, you'll have to think of another, LOL

oh hey, if you do deal on that used one, keep in mind, dealers are only giving mid 20's on SS's in trade, so don't let them gouge you too much!

                            You don't want that car....

"THE FOLLOWING UPGRADES WERE COMPLETED LESS THAN 500 MILES AGO ALL DOCUMENTATION ON FILE WHIPPLE INTERCOOLED SUPERCHARGER W/ 11PSI BOOST"

That's too much on a stock engine with a PD type blower.. If it were centry and it spooled up to that, ok... But, you're going to get 11PSI low and keep it all the way up..

It's rolling on 22"s, so you're not going to get the power to the ground correctly on such a short sidewall -- you'd definitely track tires to get a useful time with your learning of the Camaro's clutch.

I'd be curious about the "less than 500 miles" ago... Was it just garage kept a long time. Money trouble? Or, did the owner know he's sitting on a timebomb?
