HOWEVER, I dont want to really reset all of my computers for a radio problem. Would not a less intrusive way be to find the radio fuse and try that first to reboot the radio computer?Comment

It doesn't reset them, software holds all the values you speak off the only thing you would have to reset is date and time. Everything else is hard set and not affected by no battery power. You may indeed still benefit from a PDIM software and/or hardware update... if it happens again, if you can, get it to your dealer while it is exhibiting the symptoms

I just came back from the dealer I went to have them update my software and they had the car for a hour and they could not do it, they say that the GM network keeps crashing, I went armed with the TSB and told them that they need to order a new PDIM because I have the very first software version but they refused to do it until they try to update the software first >

I had to go thru that too. GM requires the program and has the module on lockdown. I got the car back and I did got part number 22797218 (latest one) with DB/DD
So far all the problems I was having are gone, hopefully this is the last time I have to deal with it.|.....Go Fast.......................| ||
