2010 Camaro 1LT Black on Black
    RS, Sunroof, Automatic
    $26,000 Supplier Pricing

    Day 1: This Past Saturday

    1. How do I enable the Ground Effect Lights AND the HID Lights at the same time? I have tried every position on the Light selector to no avail. They Ground effects only light up on their own if set to Auto and Daytime Only. Wish I could have them on all the time, any good Aftermarket kits to control lighting that are easy to install?

    2. The car does NOT have Remote Car Start, which I really liked on the 2LT/SS models. Is it possible to have Remote Start installed at Dealer or Factory Service center(if that even exists), I really would like a Remote Start living in Missouri this time of year.

    3. The car came with the base Factory stereo, I really liked the Boston Acoustics and how it interfaced with the iPhone, that was pretty kick ass. What kind of aftermarket stereos do you see being installed reasonably in these cars?

    4. Brembo Breaks 14in Front 14.4 Rear, ok where do I get the exact ones used on the SS?
    Brembo - Camaro SS

    5. I'm thinking about adding a "SS / RS " to the Rear and I'm looking at THIS SS EMBLEM to add to the RS on the back of my car. Yes, I'm a poser but know it's for a very good cause: get some steady pussy. I basically want to give people the impression that its a SS even though its not. Where can I get the Factory Replica of "SS / RS" that you see on certain rides?

Thanks for your advice in advance.

    Welcome!

    1. You can't with an RS. A wiring hack is required. I think someone makes a plug-and-play adapter.

    2. Yup, but there is no GM solution yet. You need to go aftermarket. I just had a Viper Responder One installed.

    3. You can have the dealer get you a PDIM for Bluetooth and USB. Mine should be in this week.

    4. Hmm. No comment.

      1. Please link me a site you think would have that Plug n Play adapter.

      2. Will the dealer program a New Key with the Viper code? Is that possible?

      3. Explain what the PDIM is, where your going to get it installed.

      Sites I've found so far:
Defenderworx Custom Billet Accessories - HOME
Mustang Parts, Chevy Truck Parts & Dodge Challenger Parts at Latemodel Restoration Supply

Any other sites you suggest for GM 2010 Camaro Parts? Thanks for the welcome!

is that your good cause for being a poser? :omfg: then why stop at SS badges go for broke and get some Ferrari or lamborghini badges, your average woman won't know what a SS badge mean

OK, that is all, I am staying out of this one.

          1. C5 Forum Thread on harness adapter

          2. No. I chose that Viper as the remote is very tiny.

          3. The PDIM is a GM module that handles Bluetooth and USB for the audio system. You can get it from any GM parts place, such as your dealer. They can also install and update the radio firmware. The update is required.

Thanks for the link, looking into the Adapter now. Man if you had a part number on that GM part it would be much appreciated. I have to say the way the iPhone interfaces with the Boston Acoustic system is worth the extra $450 factory option, I'm really kicking myself now.

The PDIM is less than $450. LOL Actually, it's less than $350 installed.

                  5. or you could not get the SS badges, and say that the real reason you didn't get the v8 is because you wanted to have your sports car, but be "green...(ish)" at the same time. This way you wont be a poser, and you still get your jollies.

I had to laugh at that myself, that was pretty foolish of me when I typed that I admit. Too much Camaro juice overload I guess, but hey I like the car regardless of the V8.

I'm just tired of every damn Mustang I see pulling up and trying to race lol, even the V6 is pretty mean.

                    I added:
-SS / to the Trunk Lid
                    -Transformer Door Sills
                    -SS to Front Grill

Love it or hate it, it still gets a lot of attention. A lot.

FYI, the V6 and a pre-2011 stock Mustang GT are kinda even, power wise. The Ford has 50 more foot-pounds of torque and is almost a person lighter, though.

At that point, it seems like the better driver would take it.

I thought about the Transformer emblem but I like the Decepticon ideas people have been coming up with.
I ordered the white P13W's off AAC w/ DRL adapter...finally found that adapter.

I had the window tinted to 40% sides with 15% on the back window. Looks pretty sharp. Cant wait for the DRL lights to arrive...running with the Halos on freaks people out lol.

                        Next up:
                        -USB/Bluetooth Stereo PDIM(next)
                        -Remote Start + FOB

SS Brembo Brakes can be found on Ebay...or at Hennessey Motor-sports. Or you can get them from GMpartsdirect.

Thanks man, those Orange Halos and Ground Effect lights look pretty sick. That's definitely a head turner.

                              Couple of ideas banging:

                              -C A M A R O letters across Windshield
-"To Punish and Enslave" decal as seen here. The ethical implications could snuff this idea, plus I think thats a Mustang...still looks sharp.
-Decepticon Emblem only measures 3in x 3in, I haven't found specs on the GM Transformer emblem.
-The Hennessey Brake prices are laughable for that level. Going to have to look around for better deals, but I was like damn thats high.
-Find local Chevy dealer that can program stereo for PDIM and do Autostart install + FOB.
