This is impressive. I can't wait to see times on this beast. I wasn't impressed at first but the more I read the more I like. If it comes in right at 4K lbs. I'm in.

The list grows AS WE SPEAK!

My 578 HP guess was pretty good, huh?

I'm curious to see how fast the 6 speed hoofs it down the 1320 in factory configuration... No DRs, No slicks, no weight reduction, etc..

People over on C5 are betting on mid 11s to 11.8 stock.. With the weight and power.. I don't see it w/o a incredibly good launch - -at least, not with the stick... If the A6 is tuned right, I could possibly believe that.. Even with the power and tires, it's still a heavy car to launch.

Yeah, look's like 4200 lbs. is legit and indirectly from GM. No thanks, back to being unimpressed. That was short lived.

They have not given the true wieght yet, if it does come at 4000lbs thats not bad! You guys are forgetting the suspension on this thing is INSAINE... This car is NOT going to be like launching your SS, it has more gear and allot more torque and with the suspension and new tires your looking at a hole new animal! My guess is 1.8 60fts should be normal for a good driver with a 12.0-11.80 range, give it some time and 11.6s bone stock! I WISH I could afford one!
                      12.39 @ 115.6 Da corrected 12.13 @ 118, on stock tires!
Voodoo 218/228 .565 lift cam, xs power headers, home made intake and 3" H pipe exhaust dumped at the rear

We haven't seen what this one costs....plus you can get in a used Z06 for under 50K. There is NO comparison to a Vette.

It ain't gonna be 4K.....4200 is listed in the provded GM spec sheet. 11.6 bone stock? Don't think so.

The GT500 weighs 3,820 pounds with 550 HP/ 510 TQ and runs 12.40 @ 115 on the OEM spec tire. ( clearly traction limited as the trap speed says otherwise )

                        The Z06 weighs 3,253 pounds with 505 HP/ 470 TQ and runs 11.8 @ 123. ( same here, traction needed )

Keep in mind these times were run by a pro driver.

You can't compare used prices, new is the only apples to apples compare. You can get a used 911 for 50k, but no one is going to compare a camaro to a 911.

Michelin pilot cup sport zero pressure tires? Thoughts? I want a ZL1, but am willing to wait a year.

Seems like zero pressure tires would be too heavy.
