  • To stripe or not to stripe

That is the question. I have been kicking around the idea of getting flat black stripes for my black car. Any insight? Should I do the stock style that end at the hood or bumblebee style that extend over the front bumper. Another idea I had was '69 style that extend over the entire top of the bumper and end at the grill, I haven't seen that yet. Pics below for reference.

DEFINITELY Flat Black... I'm not sure if the '69 style would really fit on this car, there is more curviture to this than the '69, so I would have to say BumbleBee style...but I may change my mind if someone photoshopped some Flat Black '69 stripes on Dan's car....

I agree. I think due to how subtle the contrast is, the stock short stripes in the pic would look the best. I would like to see a p-shop of the 69 stripes though.

I'm looking to get them done in vinyl, and I never saw a set that looks good around the slot. On the V6 cars I think they look great. I just don't want make the commitment to painted stripes.

Here a set Xtreme did, if you ignore the striping in the bumper it's basically the '69 style.

nawh!!! not feeling it, if you do them like that they look unfinished if you don't do the bumper, my vote goes do them like the picture I posted or just to the end of the hood OEM style.

I like the stripes as pictured on the convertible concept above, that would look best IMO.

I think go into the bumper, but make it finished off. I think the "no ending" look stripe looks good on older cars but does not look up to date on these camaros.

I like those flat black stripes on the black Camaro, eventhough I didn't think I would.
