I've had trouble with my iPod hooking up in the car, and found a TSB through the camaro5 website for the module. I went in 2 weeks ago to my dealer, and they said they were only accepting oil changes until July 1st. I set up an appointment that day for 8am today (July 1st). I just called, and the service advisor told me that the car still has not made it into the shop yet, and he is unsure where it is in line since they have a lot of cars to work on, so he isn't sure if it will even make it in today. I do not want to leave my car there overnight (I have a hard enough time leaving it there for the day). Should I leave it there, or should I start looking for a different dealer/shop to take it to?

Also, check your cord for your iPod, mine was acting up , I found it had a frayed cord. Also, sometimes I have to reboot my iPod, to get it to connect.Last edited by KidKilowatt; 07-01-2011, 02:32 PM.]

1. get another Chevy dealer, some caddy dealers are open on saturday and will do oil changes also,
2. Sometimes I have to unplug and plug back in my ipod, there is some kind of glitch in the system on that but it usually works after I plug it back in.

I am really upset I didn't bring it to another dealer:
Dropped it off Wednesday morning. They tore it apart, and figured out it was the iPod interface (which is exactly what the TSB I gave them said). They said they would order the part and replace it Thursday (today) and my car would be back tonight. They offered me a loaner, then realized they had none. So they rented me a car through Enterprise. I was supposed to get an Impala, but they gave it away as I arrived, so I ended up with a Cadillac DTS instead (on the dealer).
So I get a phone call this afternoon, they ordered the wrong part, and had to go through some "back channels" to find the right one. So now it will be delivered tomorrow morning, with the car "hopefully" back tomorrow night. Only problem is I am leaving for Myrtle Beach, SC at 4am on Saturday, so I need the car back ASAP tomorrow so I can wash it, detail it, pack up and prepare for the trip.
Needless to say, I am not too happy right now.
