The LLT has 4 cams, 2 intake & 2 exhaust....they are altering the duration on the cams to give it a lope only at idle. No performance gain, just sound.

Long time ago, I heard about someone going totally cam-less in an ICE. They used a 48VDC system to actuate all the valves on the test mule.. They were able to rapidly vary a "cam" using all the independent valve controls. It looked like a large coil over the valve -- sort of like the old mechanical door bell dingers..

Never heard anything else from that... but, it was cool to listen to.. Smooth idle, mild, then crazy choppy idle..
