Looks like it may be possible to just tune the VVT motors to idle like they have big cams. A guy on C5 will be working with Trifecta to try this. If you are already getting a tune, this could be a cool freebie.

The only way to achieve that sound is with a separate exhaust and intake cam so it would not work with the single cam VVT in the L99. Also I doubt this will work on the V6 because the 5.0 is Ti-vvt. That means twin independant variable valve timing so the intake and exhaust can be timed independantly so they can ovetlap and have both intake and exhaust valves open at the same time giving it that lopey sound. I believe the LLT can only change timing equally for both cams.Comment
