Our brakes were making a lot of noise yesterday. We had it out Saturday also but didn't notice any noise. Eventually it went away, but has anyone else had problems?

Took her out today and no noise. Kind of like a squeaking when stopping. I have had the noise on other cars, but I didn't think the noise would start already with these brakes. She sat for the winter but was out for wow.Comment

i've had mine squeak a bit when wet, but I don't recall yesterday being wet ?

If it happens when slowing down at low speeds (about 15mph and lower) its normal. That is if you have an earlier production car. I'd take a guess if your car's vin is before 50k. I know this was common with the earlier production cars. Mine does it as well nothing to worry about just very annoying. Im going to get it fixed next week bc Im pretty sure theres a tsb for this. They replace the front brakes with the roller skate pads which eliminates the squeaking.sigpicComment

Mine squeaks like crazy, that's what happens when track brakes make it on a street car. To get that to go away you have to heat up the brakes. In traffic they won't squeak.Comment
