arghhh!!! so frustrating.

    arghhh!!! so frustrating.

    I bought the OEM garage door opener that goes on the overhead console and I got it today, so I went out in the cold and took apart the overhead console only to find out that the harness is not there, I have to hard wire it somehow, but now is too cold to be messing with the wires outside so this will be a project for another time.

    My frustration comes because of why GM does this? Why don't they put the harness there for a easy hassle free upgrading, my lightning has all the harness there for whatever upgrading you want to do, if I want to upgrade to the powered rear slider the harness is there, if I want the powered adjustable pedals the harness are there,

    Sorry for the long rant I just needed to vent.

      Which model Camaro do you have? Just wondering what model this has been confirmed on and what year because I plan on doing this mod sometime in the future.

      I have a 2011 1LT, so I'm hoping the harness is there.

        Must have been a decent sized cost savings to leave it out. :/ sux for you though, sorry!

            I would think that it would be easier/cheaper to just make one wiring harness for all models than make different harness for different models, but who knows

              I think that was the case pre-bankruptcy, but after, perhaps not so much

                Well, I found some sort of wiring harness to get this job done, but its not totally uninvasive. Here is the link on C5. Its all I have been able to find. If I could find a plug and play type option I'd be all over this mod.
