Backup Cam

I grabbed one of those Peak backup cams from Advance Auto Parts the day of D&B and did a test install today. It's worth about the $50 I paid for it. It is better than nothing, though. I also found a nice way to mount the cam and run the wires. Until I can find a good way to tap into the reverse light wiring, it's on whenever the ignition is on (I just turn the monitor on and off).

I use the mirrors, it comes with years of driving a van into docks at work.

lol im with dark i got mirrors before i had a full size pick up this car is tiny in comparison

I guess I'm just not use to the slit of a back window. :shrug:

My last fun car was a '89 Ford Probe GT (bought in '88) and the whole back was glass.

I'm sure the back up sensors on these cars are a big help.
But I got used to it fast, and the mirrors are plenty big for this purpose.

That being said, I would like having the back up sensors anyway.
I wonder how difficult it would be to add them to a car. :smile:

I think that would be more money and wiring than a cam.
