no actually ive seen these subs take 3k each daily and laugh at it these subs are alot better made than anything you can get from bestbuy. trust me i know what i am doing. ohh and im building my box in the trunk(only way it will fit.)

and my friend has a 12" sub that will take 10k daily with no problems...or 20k on burps and still be under their warrenty

I thought I was going crazy with 2150W to my entire system. I have two 10" subs running off of 1150W at 2 ohms, and they pound plenty enough for me. Any more than 1500W to the subs and you will start deforming everything on the inside the car, everything will rattle it's way loose.

i havnt fully determined what im doing with the head unit. Id like a touch screen but i do not like the way the dash looks with the buttons for the ac/heat instead of the knobs. I like the knobs

There is a guy on camaro5.com that builds a double-DIN with the stock HVAC knobs. Charges about $1k, though.

I think it is,
the one in the first picture it's just for show purposes, the one on the 2nd picture it's what the production piece might look like, if you look at this picture of the alpine camaro you can see the scosche decal on the engine cover as one of the sponsors I guess.
