    Bulbs Covered!

    I just noticed that one of my fog lights burned out. Called the dealer and they are covered!

    $30 each if they were not covered. Maybe time to look into LED for these, anyway.

      Thanks! Ordered!

      Dealer replaced the dead one today while I was in for the check on my oil consumption test. Paperwork says it's still full after 1k. Let's see at 2K.

          Since when are bulbs covered warranty parts? That's a new one on me... Great for you though!

                So for a mental note, which dealership was this? I'm also curious if others are doing the same, at least for 5th Gens?

                      I will say that my post-sale experience with them has been much better than the pre-sale. They had no clue about ordering, or, what was really available. If I had seen the beige interior, I would have ordered that.

                            Install was not bad at all (only the passenger side was tough as I needed to use my left hand ).

                            Now I need different headlight bulbs. The color mismatch will drive me nuts.

                              Grr. Sylvania Silverstars are not silver. Also, they say that the color temp is 4k versus 3.1k, but, they look pretty much like stock. Looks like I'll need HID's for the correct color. May be better to find different color fog lamps.
