Gremlins in the Trunk?

Not very often but occassionaly when I'm just idling I'll hear a quick series of knocks sounding like they are coming from the rear right side of the car, then they go away. Anyone else get that and any ideas what it might be?

yes its your fuel valve back there i believe on the gas system from what I have been told, its NORMAL

Definately not sloshing. More like someone tapping on the fender 3 or 4 times. Since it sounds like its near the gas tank filler, I think Lawdog is right that it has something to do with the fuel system. I'll have to make note of if it happens soon after I fuel up or not.

Normal. It is a routine check that is done on some system( fogot which one, evap maybe).....
