I just bought mine for 19.95 at walmart and it works great and it has a speaker on the end so I can talk hands free.....

^ Huh, I thought the Personal Device Interface Module is the electronics that make the integration possible?! Is this really just a cable? If so, the description is misleading... Other sites sell this for $150+

Supposedly this is the PDIM definition:
"This Personal Device interface Module (PDIM) allows the user to plug their remote audio devices (iPod, MP3 player, etc.) into the USB port. The PDIM allows for command and control of the remote audio device through the radio and steering wheel controls. For Use on Vehicles without Wireless Audio Interface (KTB)"

Yeah, a PDIM is a box that gets installed in the console. GM part number looks right, though.

They have newer cars and probably just need the cable.

Others have confirmed, this is JUST the cable. blah. lol what a misleading ad.
