Fog lights/DRL

It is my understanding if you have the RS package, your fog lights are DRL and do not come on with the HID headlights.
The other night I had my lights set in the auto-on mode, as I always do.
I changed the setting to manual while the light were on and the fog lights came on also. This never happened before. The next night I tried to put the fog light on and they would not come on. I was just wondering why the fog light came on just that one time?
Has anyone had this happen to them?

The fog lights are technically not fog lights on a rs car. The are driving lights and will not come on when your headlights are on. If you want them to be on with you headlights you have to do the DRL mod. Let me know and i could help you out with that.

What Pete means is that the fog lights are NOT technically fog lights. The are solely DRL's from the factory.
