  • 3.91 Gears for Daily driver?

I want to add gears but not sure if 3.91 gears would be good on my daily driver? Anyone have on their daily driver?
Also, does anyone have a ballpark range for installation and recalibration?

Per FB you are more than welcome to take my car for a spin, I have 3.91s but also a 3200 stall.

I think you are looking at 4-5 hours for labor.

I did mine at Speed Inc., the gear install is perfect.

I had 3.91's in my V6, which is not applicable to your application, but I would not recommend going with that tall of a gear in the V6 for anyone. I would cruise on the highway at 70 mph at like 2600-2800 RPM. Terrible drone!

              I'm doing 2200 @ 70 MPH.

I did change my mufflers to reduce the drone (I also went catless which had made my drone insane).
