    Pro's: Faster, sounds cooler

Con's: Louder, car will shake, might need a converter to avoid cam surge.

I know it will be louder, faster, more HP and I knew it would shake but that is just at stop lights. It only last a minute or so. I can deal with that.

Agreed...probably need to attend one of the upcoming get togethers to get a better feel for my options. I'm guessing that many of you did the same before shelling out $7k...good news is that's only 20% of my daughter's first year college fund!

Yep, don't want the wife getting pissed off because the thing shakes violently, sounds like a dragster, and gives her whiplash off the line. Those are all of the things that I want, but I have to keep the peace! For instance, a moderate cam with an appropriate stall tq converter and an exhaust that's somewhere between SW retro and stock. I've also considered running something relatively quiet but with cutouts for when the wife isn't with me...any of you running QTP's or similar?

Sorry to invade on your thread but I may ask some questions ypu want answers too! I am in same situation as you: want more hp but dont want the car ridiculously loud! Does anyone know if Nickey's stage I cam has a more subtle idle than the nightfury cam? As of now I am deciding between these two.

Stefano at Nickey can answer that for you. I think that is where I will be taking my car in March.

I'm in Chicago but I have a 3200 stall and you are more than welcome to drive mine at some point.

I consider the Night Fury cam to be big, and you might love it or you might find that the drive ability is not where you need it to be.
Thanks for the offer and I'll take you up on it when things start to clear up (struggling with driving my baby on salty roads for now) and maybe at an early spring CG5 event.

Yeah that is where I am going too come spring. just wanted to see if I can get some opinions from those who have heard each in person. Because I have been watching a lot of videos of each but seems like there are major differences from one video to another depending on supporting mods... i think Nickey's cam would be best for me because it would be good to have him tune his own goods which he knows best to meet my goals.

I have heard both and yes, NicKey's Stage I Cam is has less lope or a more subtle idle than the NightFury Cam. The Night Fury Cam is closer to NicKey's Stage II Cam which is what I have in my car and I love it!

You have a YouTube link capturing the exhaust note at idle and WOT? Beautiful car BTW?
